Tracey Lloyd
Tracey Lloyd is the owner of Vireo Health Promotions, a south-east Queensland based workplace wellbeing and health promotion consultancy, training and supply business.
Professional Background, Qualifications and Education
Ms Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Arts (Criminology & Criminal Justice) from Griffith University and a Graduate Certificate in Health Promotion from Curtin University of Technology. She is currently working towards a Graduate Diploma of Psychology and Masters of Business Management.
Prior to founding Vireo Health Promotions, Ms Lloyd held various roles in the legal field and corporate governance. She has also worked in the not for profit social welfare sector in administrative and managerial roles.
Ms Lloyd is a trained mediator, a member of the Medical Radiation Technologists Board of Queensland and is a reviewer for the Cochrane Collaboration’s systemic reviews of healthcare interventions. Active in her local community, Ms Lloyd volunteers with the Heart Foundation Community Speakers’ Program and Cancer Council Queensland's Community Education Program.
Writing Credits
“Worthless and Scared” written by Ms Lloyd was an entrant in the 2009 Queenlsand Premier’s Literary Awards. Copies of Ms Lloyd’s work “Depression – What It Is & How To Recover” is held by the National Library of Australia and the State Library of Queensland.
Ms Lloyd has written a number of workbooks on behalf of Vireo Health Promotions and publishes a monthly e-newsletter on workplace health issues.
Ms Lloyd has contributed articles to SelfGrowth.Com and also prepares video presentations for Vireo Health Promotion’s Youtube channel. She is a senior writer for Weekend Notes Brisbane and enjoys writing about the hidden gems of Brisbane (even more so when she can write about where to play tennis)
Ms Lloyd was Suite 101’s Social Corporate Responsibility Feature Writer for the period August 2009 to February 2010.
